Welcome to The Sentry Marketing Group! Your application has been approved.       Your account with our company will become fully active in 6 – 8 hours.

This page is intended to give you all of the information that you need to get started.   If you have any questions,   please review the FAQ on the shopper’s homepage of our website (www.sentrymarketing.com).   If you cannot find an answer to your question there, you may email support@sentrymarketing.com.

IS MY ACCOUNT FULLY ACTIVE AT THIS TIME?

No. Your shopper account is not fully active until you receive a second email from us. This email will notify you that your access to the Sentry Marketing Group Support Center has been granted.

WHAT IS THE SHOPPER SUPPORT CENTER?

The Shopper Support Center is our dedicated space for all shopper resources. You’ll find links to our assignment preparation center, assignment scheduling and report submission website, assignment history page and other resources.

 

WHEN CAN I ACCESS THE SHOPPER SUPPORT CENTER?

You will be able to access the Shopper Support Center once our system created your user id and password. User id’s and passwords are created two times per day according to the following schedule:

All times Eastern:         1PM, 9PM

You will receive an email from us notifying you that your access has been granted and that your account is fully active.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE SHOPPER SUPPORT CENTER

The Shopper Support Center can be accessed from the shopper’s page of our website.

 

PASSWORD INFORMATION

A user id and password are needed in two places:

To enter the Shopper Support Center
To enter Your Assignment Connection (where assignments are scheduled and completed)

For ease of use, your user name and password are the same for both locations. Your user name is your email address and your password is the first two letters of your last name + the last four digits of your phone number.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

If your computer is new and running a 64 bit operating system, you must use Internet Explorer 32 bit to view the courses. The is because Macromedia does not make a version of Flash that is compatible with the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer.

 

You must be able to receive mail from the domains @sentrymarketing.com and @archondev.com. Check your SPAM, JUNK MAIL and other settings to be sure that this mail is finding its way to you. You MUST be able to receive email from these domains to shop for us.

 

You should be using a current version of either Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. Other web browsers may not provide optimal performance.

 

 

It is very important that your computer have the most current version of Java and Flash. The links below will take you to web sites where you can easily check if these programs are up to date:

Your screen resolution must be a minimum of 1024×768

 

You should add the website www.sentrylearning.com to your list of safe websites.

 

Orientation | GETTING STARTED WITH THE SENTRY MARKETING GROUP

 

After you have been granted access to the Shopper Support Center, you will be ready to view the orientation module, SMG100: New Field Evaluator Orientation.
SMG100 is a one time overview that was developed to provide new field evaluators with our company a self-paced tool that introduces them to the policies, procedures and guidelines that will help prepare them for successfully completing assignments for our company.


ACCESSING THE SENTRY MARKETING UNIVERSITY

Go to www.sentrymarketing.com and click the SHOPPERS link   The Shopper Support Center login is located on the right hand side of the page.

Login with your id and password.

From the homepage of www.sentrymarketing.net, click the SENTRY MARKETING UNIVERSITY link in the left hand menu.

Review the information on this page and click the ENTER link.

Click the CATALOG link at the top of the page.

Place a check mark under the Enroll column of all of the course you want to sign up for.

Click the ENROLL button at the bottom of the page.

Click the Return button.

Click the icon under the Launch heading for the course you would like to complete.

Note: if the presentation does not begin when you press LAUNCH, try pressing the Control key at the same time that you click the Launch icon. This should bypass any popup blockers and allow the presentation to properly launch.

VERY IMPORTANT

It is very important that you do not progress too quickly through the learning modules. Double clicking can result in presentation skipping ahead or locking up. When you arrive at the page that displays your score, wait 30 – 45 seconds before proceeding. Review the last slide thoroughly, waiting 30 – 45 seconds before you press the CLOSE THIS PRESENTATION button. Do not close the presentation any other way.

There are quizzes at the end of each module. You must pass the quiz with a 90% or better to become certified in each.

NOTE FOR FUTURE INFORMATION: if the word REQUEST appears in the Enroll column, then the online course for the subject is in development and not ready for scheduling. In these cases, all of the assignment preparation material is located with the visit information in the Assignment Web Portal.

In order to view the courses at SMU, you must have current copies of JAVA and FLASH. In addition, your screen resolution must be a minimum of 1024×768.
